2bhk Scheme 3nd Phase in Hyderabad FRAMEWORK:
In the past, the standard housing offering was a 260 square feet single-room house. However, the “Double Bedroom Housing” scheme represents a substantial improvement by providing two bedrooms, a hall, a kitchen, and two toilets, covering a spacious area of 560 square feet.
In rural areas, this initiative offers an independent house on a 125 square yard plot, while in urban areas, it provides 36 square yards of undivided land share within G++ pattern houses. What’s remarkable is that the land comes at no cost to the beneficiaries, in addition to covering the entire cost of the dwelling unit.
This program is distinctive in the country because it is designed to be exceptionally generous for the underprivileged. Those benefiting from this scheme are not required to take loans or make contributions, which is a significant advantage for both rural and urban families in need of housing.
It represents a shift from credit and subsidy-based approaches to a “fully subsidized scheme,” creating valuable assets and clean living spaces for the beneficiaries. This not only enhances the lives of individuals but also contributes significantly to the socio-economic development of both individuals and communities.
