Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme: In 2014-15, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation began a Scholarship Program. Its main aim was to support bright students financially, especially those pursuing Professional and Technical courses at the Graduate and Post-Graduate levels. The program also welcomed students who excelled in sports and cultural activities at the State and National levels.

This program was carefully designed to be fair. Its goal was to help students who were both academically strong and in need of financial assistance. In 2015-16, the Scholarship Program was given a new name: “NIRANKARI RAJMATA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME.” This new name reflected the foundation’s dedication to recognizing and assisting outstanding students in their studies and other activities.

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme: Eligibility

To be eligible for the Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme, you should meet the following criteria:

1. Enrollment in a Recognized Institution: You must be a regular student enrolled in a central/state government-recognized institution or university.
2. Admission through Competitive Test: Your admission to the institution or university should be based on your performance in a competitive written test.
3. Disciplines Covered: You must hold an admission offer in one of the following academic disciplines:
   • Graduate degree in Engineering or equivalent fields
   • Graduate degree in Medicine (Allopathic/Ayurvedic/Homeopathic)
   • MBA/PGDM
   • Architecture
   • CA (after successfully clearing the CPT examination)
   • CFA (after qualifying the Foundation test)
   • LLB (after qualifying for degree exams or passing the entrance test)
   • Journalism and Mass Communication
4. Academic Excellence: You should have secured a minimum of 90% or more marks in your Class 12 examination.
5. Family Income: Your family’s total annual income should not exceed INR 3,50,000 from all sources.

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme: Required Documents

1. Completed application form with a photograph attached.
2. Self-attested copies of the following documents:
   • Latest payslip and income tax return of all earning family members or a family income certificate issued by the area SDM, BDO, or Tehsildar.
   • University or educational institution admission slip or offer letter.
   • Mark sheets of previous academic qualifications, starting from Class 10.
   • Certificates for Classes 10 and 12.
   • Copies of results for all passed semester exams.
   • Latest fee receipts issued by the university or institute.
   • Residence proof, such as a Ration card, Aadhar card, voter ID, passport, PAN card, or any other valid document.
   • Copy of the passbook and a canceled check from the student’s savings bank account for remittance of financial aid (if the student has already paid the fee and is seeking reimbursement).
3. A certificate from the institution stating:
   • The student has not received any other scholarship.
   • The student has not taken admission through management/convenor quota or any other special quota.
   • The student’s family income from all sources does not exceed INR 3,50,000 per annum.

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme: Terms and Conditions

1. The scholarship is exclusively awarded to students pursuing higher education within India.
2. Half (50%) of the scholarship funds are designated for female students.
3. The scholarship may be discontinued if a student fails any examination during their course.
4. In the final year of their study, students will receive only 25% of the total fee after providing their final year marksheet.
5. The decisions made by the Education Committee of SNCF are considered final and binding.
6. Scholarships are not granted for courses pursued through Correspondence or Distance Education.
7. Eligible students may be required to attend an interview with the Education Committee if necessary.
8. The list of approved applicants will be posted on the SNCF website.
9. Applicants are encouraged to regularly check the website for updates and notifications.

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme: Key Features

1. The scholarship is available to students who meet specific eligibility criteria and intend to pursue higher education within India.
2. Half (50%) of the scholarship funds are reserved for female students, with the possibility of allocating the remaining amount to other eligible students if there’s a shortage of eligible female candidates.
3. A committee formed by the Education Department of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation will assess the economic condition and financial situation of the applicant’s family. The committee comprises four members responsible for evaluating various factors, including the family’s livelihood pattern, dependents, socio-economic background, financial needs of the student and family, academic merit, and more. In certain cases, the committee may conduct home inspections.
4. Financial assistance will be granted to promising and needy students based on the committee’s recommendations.
5. The amount of financial assistance provided to an applicant depends on their specific requirements and their capacity to pursue the chosen course.
6. Eligible applicants must have secured admission to institutions or colleges recognized by the state or central government. They should have scored at least 90% in their Class XII examination. Eligible disciplines include Medicine (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, and Homeopathic), Engineering, MBA/PGDM, Architecture, Chartered Accountancy (after passing CPT), CFA (after passing the foundation test), and LLB (after clearing the entrance test or degree exams).
7. Admission must be obtained through a competitive written examination, and students admitted through Management/Convener Quota or other non-competitive methods will not be considered for the scholarship, subject to case-by-case evaluation by the Education Committee.
8. The scholarship is open to:
   • 1st-year students in the specified courses.
   • Previous-year scholarship recipients if they meet the criteria and maintain a minimum of 75% marks each year after Class 12.
   • In cases of non-passing due to circumstances beyond the student’s control, the Member Incharge Education may consider restoring the scholarship on merit.
9. Submission of a financial assistance request does not guarantee eligibility. The grant is contingent on fulfilling the scheme’s criteria, with the Education Committee’s decision being final, and no reconsideration requests entertained.
10. In the final year of the course, 25% of the fee is paid upon receipt of the final year marksheet.
11. Applications for deserving students are invited annually, allowing a review of their financial status, academic performance, and behavioral/attitudinal aspects for selection. The tuition fees for the entire course are not sanctioned all at once; only the tuition fee is paid.

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme: Rewards Details

• The scholarship has a maximum value of INR 50,000.
