Rules of Prasuti Sahay Yojana 2023

- Direct payment of the assistance is made from DBT to the recipient’s bank account.
- A woman receives the benefit even if she has had an abortion. In the event of an abortion or stillbirth, a current PHC medical certificate must be provided. (In the same scenario where the applicant is a woman and the worker’s wife is a pregnant woman who becomes pregnant before or during the 26th week of her pregnancy.)
- Applications for assistance must be submitted no later than six months after the date of conception.
- Application of Rs. 17,500/-before maternity assistance and copy of medical certificate/mamta card approved by surgeon/surgeon/surgeon PHC (in case of registered female worker) are required in the case of registered female construction workers in 06 (six) months. The application must be received by the office before the period of 06 months (six months) has elapsed, calculated from the date of submission to the tentative date of delivery at the Board’s office.
