Women with a 10th standard or higher education who are between the ages of 18 and 35 are eligible for financial aid.

SAHYTA Program

Additionally, Mission Youth has launched a unique financial aid program for young people in need. The program allows young people in need to get financial assistance of up to 2 lakhs for the establishment of profitable self-employment units.

For the purposes of this program, a “youth in distress” is defined as a person between the ages of 18 and 40 who has lost a relative or a close friend as a result of an insurgency-related action, cross-border shelling, or mine blast incident in Jammu and Kashmir. The financial aid provided under this plan will have two parts. For each dental clinic that is established under this initiative, Mission Youth shall pay a grant in aid or capital amount of Rs. 2 lakh, which will be granted as a special grant to unemployed dental experts for opening their own clinics. The bank will finance the remaining 6 lakhs through a start-up loan that must be repaid.

In the program’s pilot phase, 200 clinics are to be established with a focus on hiring 400 doctors and 400 dental technicians.

Rise Together

Under the banner “Rise Together,” Mission Youth, J&K has launched a particularly created community-oriented livelihood generation program for young people in J&K. The initiative aims to encourage community-based entrepreneurship in the best possible way to create jobs, income, and foster a spirit of social service among Jammu and Kashmir’s new generation of young entrepreneurs.

As part of the program, eligible youth groups will receive financial assistance totaling 20.00 lakh, which will be made up of a loan from the bank (which will cover 70% of the project’s costs up to a maximum of 17.50 lakh) and an upfront subsidy component provided by Mission Youth (minimum of 2.5 lakh or 10% of project cost).

The beneficiary youth organization shall self-finance/self-arrange Margin Money for the remaining project costs, which shall not be less than 20% of the total project costs.
